Samantha is a registered psychologist who has experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Samantha utilises a warm, empathic therapeutic approach and believes an important aspect of treatment is providing a non-judgemental space for clients to explore their difficulties and understand themselves. She aims to collaboratively work with clients to reach meaningful and achievable goals. Samantha values working from a client-centred, strengths-based perspective to achieve positive client outcomes.
Samantha has experience working in both clinical settings and within a multi-disciplinary team in a developmental paediatric clinic. She is experienced in conducting psychometric assessments such as cognitive and academic achievement assessments. Samantha has experience providing individual psychological intervention to children and teens implementing evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy.
Samantha completed her Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at Macquarie University and her Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced at Monash University. She then obtained her Master of Professional Psychology from the University of Wollongong.
