About Miriam

Miriam Korman is a registered psychologist with a background in disability services, elderly care and mental health.

Miriam is passionate about sustainability and social change, connecting with nature and animals, culture and learning, and exercise, diet and sleep – and the positive impact these things can have on our mental health. Miriam comes from a multicultural background, has lived in various parts of the world and traveled extensively. This has developed her ability to empathize and relate to others and support the unique way individuals choose to lead their lives.

Miriam is trained, and has experience, in treating mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders with evidence-based therapeutic interventions, for example, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.


As a psychologist, Miriam strongly believes in clients being experts in their own lives. Through her gentle questions and clinical expertise clients will notice that they already possess the strengths and resources they need to create change.
