About Elizabeth

Elizabeth (she/they) is a warm, empathic psychologist who takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to support individuals and families in bringing about change and overcoming their difficulties. Elizabeth is also passionate about assisting individuals to develop an understanding of themselves (and their strengths) so they can be better equipped to take on life’s challenges.

 

Elizabeth has enjoyed working in a variety of public and private health settings with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. Elizabeth has experience working with a wide range of presentations using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Elizabeth is also Schema Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained. In addition, Elizabeth integrates different theoretical frameworks including family systems, attachment, emotion coaching, and mindfulness depending on the needs of clients.
