About Candice

Candice has a keen interest for working with children and adolescents alongside their families. This interest stems from a passionate belief that support and intervention at an early age fosters positive growth and development. Candice has extensive experience working within schools and universities, as well as child and youth care centres. More recently, Candice has worked with children with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Candice completed her psychology training and practiced independently as a counselling psychologist in South Africa before moving to Sydney, Australia. She practises from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework. She is also well versed in Humanistic and Narrative Therapy techniques, which are adopted to best suit the client’s needs. Candice also enjoys using creative mediums and art therapy practices. Alongside this, Candice is well versed in psychological assessments, and is expanding her knowledge of neuropsychological testing.

Candice believes in holistic treatment and works to promote the psychological, social and physical health of each client. She is enthusiastic in being a part of a multidisciplinary team which ensures that all elements of healing take place.
