Mitch is passionate about personal growth and development and works with clients in an empowering and non-judgemental style. Mitch understands that every human being brings with them their unique stories, histories, and future desires. Possessing a compassionate warmth and sense of humour, Mitch approaches his work with acknowledging the importance of being dynamic and adaptable to the needs of each person.

 

Mitch has experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing difficulties with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, body image concerns, disordered eating, identity, and adjustment concerns. Mitch has experience in understanding the needs of the LGBTQ community and offers an affirming and safe space for all.

 

Mitch holds both undergraduate and postgraduate training in psychology from the University of New England and has training in cognitive behaviour therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.
